In addition to many books, through the Foundation Center, a visit to Maring-Hunt Library will give you access to two databases:
-
Foundation Directory Online allows non-profit organizations to configure multiple search fields to examine thousands of funding organizations and programs, view application guidelines, analyze successful grant projects, view IRS 990-PF tax returns, and more.
-
Foundation Grants to Individuals allows users to search thousands of funding organizations for scholarships, fellowships, loans, and internships; search by school or corporation; pursue research or professional funding; and seek welfare and special needs grants.
Our Reference staff will help you locate books and get you started searching the databases (appointments are recommended). We also will offer workshops for community and non-profit groups for more in-depth training. Staff will assist you to conceptualize, construct, and proof your proposals.
Call the Reference Desk at 765.747.8204 or email Donna Browne dbrowne@munpl.org to make an appointment or inquire about a workshop.
